It only took a half an hour to get to the Fiumicino airport. I thought we'd have plenty of time at the airport, but we had to go through 4-5 passport checks before getting on the airplane.
It seemed like the day of the never ending lunch. We had lunch at the airport, then on the plane, then an afternoon snack, and another snack after we got to Chicago O'Hare airport.
After 24 hours of travel, we finally made to Sky Harbor Airport. Ben's dad picked us and brought us home.
This was the trip of a lifetime, however, I am very glad to be home.
