Day 21 (Sept. 23) - We left our
Camping-Park Oberammergau this morning to go to
Castle Linderhof, another one of Mad King Ludwig's castles about 12 km north of
Oberammergau. Ludwig was an admirer of the Bourbon French kings and had this castle built based on Versaille.

Before continuing on our journey, we took a quick trip back into
Oberammergau today to get some more ice cream. We found a ice cream place yesterday that served ice cream for only 1€ per scoop or cone.
We originally planned on going to Salzburg tonight. However, we decided to go to
Berchtesgaden instead. We're staying at the
Campingplatz Allweglehen. The campground is up a steep road on the a hill.
