Day 24 (Sept. 26th) - Yesterday, we tried to burn off our calories from the day before by taking
Fraulein Maria's Sound of Music/Salzburg bike tour.
Instead of Fraulein Maria, our tour guide was a university age student with an ear ring.  It was a great day for a bike ride--sunny in the low 70s.  Elizabeth and I rode a jerry rigged tandem bike.  Poor Renae was stuck with bike that was really tough to ride.

Our guide recommended that we have lunch at the
Augustiner Monestary and Brewery.  However, it didn't open until 3 p.m., so we grabbed lunch at
Bio Burger, an all organic hamburger stand.  We learned that over half of all the vegtables grown in Austria are organic.

After lunch, we went back to Getreidegasse Strasse.
Rick Steve's recommended in his travel book the homemade schnaps and liquours at
Sporer's.  We tried a apricot, cocoa nut & peppermint liquor. Renae and the girls got an ice cream down the street.  The girls were excited to see a
 Claires store.

We ended the afternoon with a visit to
Mozart's house, where we watched a 1/2 hour video on his life.  I didn't realize that his father made him and his sister tour all over Europe to perform.
