After our accident, we had set our Garmin to take us to Regensburg.
We just were following the directions on the Garmin after the accident. After a while, we realized that the Garmin was taking us on extremely small roads through small villages. When Renae checked the settings, we had it set to avoid highways. Now we were very stressed. The Rick Steve’s map I had only showed the autobahn. We finally made it to a city and I bought a huge Bavaria road map for Renae to use to navigate our way to Regensburg. The drive should have taken about 2 ½ hours, however, it ended up taking 4+ hrs.
